How managed works.
What makes a Managed Dedicated Server special?
Our team handles every aspect of server management (system updates, security patches and ongoing optimization), so your server stays fast, secure and healthy without you lifting a finger. One thing to know: there is no root access. You work with a standard Linux user account, which keeps the environment locked down and stable.
Which services are included?
Every package starts with the initial setup of the software you request, covering up to 3 hours of technician work. On top of that, your plan includes a monthly allowance of technician hours for updates, new installations or changes to existing software. Need more? Additional support is available at €21 plus 19% VAT per 15-minute interval.
Why don’t you offer unmanaged servers?
Managing a server can be complex and time-consuming. By focusing exclusively on managed servers, we can maintain high standards of service, security and performance while you focus on your business and growth.
Where will my server be located?
Your server runs in our modern datacenter in Helsinki, Finland, with excellent connectivity and infrastructure. Hosting in Germany is available on request, at a higher monthly price due to the increased power and infrastructure costs in that region.
